X363: An Adventure in Looking and Listening in Splash Fall 2021 (Nov. 06, 2021)
If you can hear the sound of the sea in a shell, can you hear the sounds of the city inside a tin can? This highly interactive, discussion-based class, co-taught by a civil engineer and a humanities major, is an example of what can happen when two very different disciplines come together. This is a deeper look into what typically goes unseen—public (and private) structures that mold where we live and, of course, the way we live. Join us as, with new perspectives, we explore our cities, towns, and suburbs. What do we see when we choose to notice?

X336: Choose Your Own Adventure: An Interdisciplinary EXPERIENCE in Splash Spring 2021 (Apr. 17, 2021)
In this highly-interactive, discussion-based class, students will leave looking at learning in a whole new way. Starting with the human cell, we will weave together different/seemingly unrelated fields of study (medicine, science, humanities, and more) into a magical experience. If you've ever thought: "I have too many interests!" or "How could I possibly choose?", this class will show you that you do not have to!
