Brief Biographical Sketch:

My name is Bayleigh and I'm from the Bronx, NY. I'm in my 3rd year at Johns Hopkins, and I'm double-majoring in Molecular & Cellular Biology and Earth & Planetary Sciences. When I'm not in class, I work in a lab on campus where I study photosynthesis in cyanobacteria from the driest hot desert on Earth. I also write for the SciTech section of the Newsletter (Hopkins student newspaper), the Triple Helix (an undergraduate biology & society journal), and for a personal microbiology blog. I also love music, museums, and reading.
