Brief Biographical Sketch:

Greetings!

Scott Hester here, formerly of Boston MA and currently of Fredericksburg VA. I'm a Bioinformatics Analyst with a really great group of folks by way of Foundation Medicine, where I look at cancer patient tumor genomes to assess accuracy/correctness for our various genomic tests (in a nutshell). In my spare time I enjoy wrestling a Westie named Wally, messing with computers, and watching my newfound favorite show: Antiques Roadshow. I've very much enjoyed teaching for Splash! in the past, and I'm looking forward to teaching with Hopkins! 8)
